Dalnavert Spirit Photos

In 2012, I completed a residency at the Dalnavert Museum in Winnipeg. Inspired by the city's famous spirit photography, I created a series of eerie images by concealing myself within the museum's rooms. The resulting photographs capture unsettling glimpses - a hint of a spectral presence or a disembodied limb - paying homage to the ghostly tradition. These images were later printed using Salt Print technique, an early form of photographic printing invented by Fox Talbot.
